looking anew at claims of many:

 not religious but spiritual I am..

Marcus Borg she had inhaled

as a gateway drug initiating  

experience of religion's truths..

She was the religious one

among her band of sinners

and spoke the funeral of

one of them in untimely death..

This seed held her tension

between church woundings

and its beating heart..

She captured the energy

implanting a church

with a growing few

 sinners yet saints..

Her message we heard:

The possibility of 

planting in springtime

of new joy and hope...
