Forgetting the Now
After our birth
we so soon forget
and begin life's search
for the happiness we left..
A search in the time as
claim stands as allotted
proceeds with a powering by
illusory free choice..
Then at some punctuation
our birth arrives again
and the miracle of Now
impinges our senses..
Past and future are
rolled into one
and new day
finds happiness
again...
