Do we resonate with certain speakers simply because they say what we want to hear?

This issue seems of major importance. Language has difficulties of
limiting expression of what can't be described, but also has a lingering effect,
which amounts to inviting attachment to the words. Thus, building the
foundation for a new religion. Yet, there seems to be no remedy, if a
remedy is what is sought. Resonance occurs when it occurs, whether
resulting from repeated words, or brand new words.
