The Dark Side

this imagined side
claims a reality its own..
the claim comes from  
searching for that
which persists as Light..

searching  in dark places 
of fear and desire
and in resistance to a 
quiet Call.. 

as the search extends
perhaps with pause for
a dark night of the soul
it may at last be recognized:

the Call has persisted in all
my days..as my tears 
dissolve a search now
ending...
