I remember Farish lake
on a gravel road
and summer's tall pines..
fishing poles and cans of worms

Opie as Logan
a whistlin' and a dancin'
that Mayberry tune..
I remember a boat to Alaska
Molly and Logan
presenting their gifted surprise:
a dance routine much rehearsed
honoring our 50th celebration..
Logan dances and lives
love of Life outpours into Excelling
in his sports and learning and..yes..
all these are dance..
And so..his confirmation I know
cannot confirm more than
a boy's love..becoming
his dance...!
