These are two names
applying to the ego
and to our consensus
belief in separation..
Fear is bound by time:
remembering the past
and those admonitions
which we have enshrined
as time enslaves..
Desire is bound by space
as we search out there
for that which will
satisfy desire..and for the
peace and freedom
which lie hidden..
This searching pulse
races through our blood
as space enslaves..
Freedom arrives
when we read and reread
the lessons of
time and space
and find our freedom
in recognizing
the prisons we create...
