From silent Bethlehem
comes new understanding..
An awareness of our
lives in separation
longings for return
to home and peace..
From ancient days
from beyond time
the birth of a child
is experienced Now
as simply I am..
A silent recognition
of grace
may arrive with
longing and searching
or more directly
sitting on a bench
lakeside...
