Time Expands
yellow swallowtail with
expanding flight
seems to slow smaller
with rapid wings..
the hummingbird's
hovering stillness
a moment stalled
on beating wings..
a pole vaulter's pause
before the fall..
a photo brings stillness
in midst of a blur..
these expansions inform
our awareness and acquaint
with an eternal home...
