2 words...

Wholeness

And separation..

The narration says:

One word searching

For the other

An unending search

Without the paradox

All words are

Already empty...

A spontaneous arising...

All of This

Is uncaused..

Cause and effect

Are uncaused and

Paradoxically

Also This...

When Richard Sylvester met Tony Parsons, he said -“That was the end of what I thought had been my life”.

(Notes from a conversation with Richard Sylvester)

Q: There’s no cause and effect.

Liberation is an uncaused spontaneous arising. So is this glass of water. Everything is an uncaused spontaneous arising. But the mind always has to think in terms of cause and effect. It’s natural for it to do so. The mind has to be in control and it can’t give up control of its own volition. When the mind says “I’m giving up control now”, it’s controlling giving up control.

"Observer"...

"Observer"

The word sometimes seems subject to a "non dual" dismissal.  Implying an observer and observed.. not deemed helpful.  Some will say that the observer is an intermediate step, and the next step will be a merging with the observed.  This process and story may appear as gambling with separation.   "Observing" may offer aid, closer to closing an imagined gap. But that gap!  Yet, if the I/me is found as separate and  illusory, there is obviously no observing, in whatever guise.  Only what is happening for no one..which may be the storied step into the void...ending this story...

An observer

Is a character

In a story..

Seeming to

Find solace

Observing

The world..

Yet separation

Remains the

Mardi..

Mardi..

No words suffice

But these are markers..

The vastness of love

Appeared in

The deftness of the

Veterinarian's hands

And her soft words..

The seeming peace

Of a promise

Beyond our

Understanding of

This tearful

Passing..
