Picnic in January

A picnic in May arises in January recall

remembering conversation and watermelon

a memory of May we believe

connected by time on a line..

On this cold January morning

the picnic images appear

warming the morning with cheer..

It is a story we place in time

separated from our reverie just now..

But on this January morning

a startling newness arises:

Nothing was lost of the picnic

memories-sensations alive

color and reveal Happiness

in the One I know as I am...

Hurricane force

near space is moving..

Reporter reports the jet stream

has dipped and greeted..

Gifts of inconvenience

uprooting and power interruption..

This turmoil in our space and

time to consider real space

but the mind shudders to do so..

The real Space observes

from stillness and calm

and is the substance

of that space of

our windy days...

You are that real Space...!

Here we find
our greatest scientist
professing an independent Theorem
outside of thought and perception..
He admits this as belief
and also admits:  this separate reality
he cannot find...in his science..
Our experience tells us:
this old Theorem is thought arising
in infinite Awareness..and there remains..
We search..as did he.. to no avail to find 
the Theorem residing outside..
Would it astonish Dr. Einstein
that the Theorem we experience
..as could he..
is made altogether.. of Awareness...?



And when the conversation shifts to the nature of reality — whether Truth can exist independently of humanity — Einstein admits that his beliefs may not rely solely on what he can know through science.
“I cannot prove scientifically that Truth must be conceived as a Truth that is valid independent of humanity; but I believe it firmly. I believe, for instance, that the Pythagorean theorem in geometry states something that is approximately true, independent of the existence of man.”

Sensations

Sensations

Sensations reside in our bodies

that is the common assumption..

But when we consider:

sensation vibrates without edges

 the body containment ends

and sensations color I am..

In a rooted sense:

sensations arrive before

thought limits and names..

When body boundaries end

sensations are seen as

simply consciousness vibrating

distances dissolve
and we stand as
unlimited luminous
Self...

How do we relate to time
in this new year..?
Does it weigh over
 recent happenings
both close and far..?
If these weighing events
have kicked off a search
due to an impression of a
happiness loss
we need be alert for the
suffering which will
accompany our search..
We search for something
to dismiss our companion
that suffering one..
A new year's resolution
may be an expression
a starting gun
of a search beginning..
Time weighs..!
In recovery
we ask:  What is it..?
time, that is..
An illusive thought..?
And in what
is that thought lodged..?
Finding the Lodging
may end the search
with a finding of
the happiness sought...
