The Cosmological Principle

The cosmological principle is usually stated formally as 'Viewed on a sufficiently large scale, the properties of the universe are the same for all observers.' This amounts to the strongly philosophical statement that the part of the universe which we can see is a fair sample, and that the same physical laws apply throughout. Different perceptions seem to prevail

yet our perceiving is all we 

really perceive..

Perceiving of all:

our moon

our mind's image of 
our far-off observing satellite..

All occupy the same temporary space

in our  infinite

perceptive Awareness..

And with awakened recognition

that Awareness is All there is

with their Now discovered

composition...

necessary precursor to

our Transcendence..

Or is the reverse the

Truth we are seeking..

interrupting the real

Truth of Silence..

Science searches but

does not find..

The cusp of discovery:

A pain in Vastness

A pain in Vastness

A pain arises, so let it be

Focusing there is pain's dire wish

so we move attention

to where pain is not

and find there the

Vastness

a new disclosure

of each large Self..

Finding the pain anew as

 constriction dispersed...

How long?

This is a question of 
Self-Inquiry
Time as thought
a mind presses
the question
 impatience laden
enduring waiting
and longing..
With a final sigh
of exhaustion 
 the mind fades
at last
into the Grace
now absorbing
the illusive time...

1 How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?
