Quantum Activist

No cost

Theoretical Quantum Physicist Dr. Amit Goswami is a revolutionary amongst a growing body of renegade scientists who, in recent years, has ventured into the domain of the spiritual in an attempt both to interpret the seemingly inexplicable findings of curious experiments and to validate intuitions about the existence of a spiritual dimension of life. A prolific writer, teacher, and visionary, Dr. Goswami has appeared in the movies What the Bleep do we Know!?, Dalai Lama Renaissance, and the prize winning,  Quantum Activist.

The Cosmological Principle

The cosmological principle is usually stated formally as 'Viewed on a sufficiently large scale, the properties of the universe are the same for all observers.' This amounts to the strongly philosophical statement that the part of the universe which we can see is a fair sample, and that the same physical laws apply throughout. In essence, this in a sense says that the universe is knowable and is playing fair with scientists. (Astronomer William Keel in Wikipedia)

plus:

As particles race around Saturn at breakneck speeds, their jostling and crashing may look random and haphazard — but a new mathematical theory brings a simple kind of order to the chaos that will help reveal more about rings across the universe.
A group of physicists, mathematicians and astronomers has more rigorously explained a longstanding mystery of Saturn's rings: why the distribution of different particle sizes, ranging from inches to more than 30 feet (10 meters) across, follows a very simple ratio. Their model also suggests why very large bodies in the rings never last long. (Space.com)

New Perception

New Perception

This amazing photo
portrays the moon's backside
backgrounded by our blue globe
a million-mile perspective
a macro-selfie in cultural terms..
Different perceptions seem to prevail
yet our perceiving is all we
really perceive..
Perceiving of all:
our moon
our blue globe
our mind's image of
our far-off observing satellite..
All occupy the same temporary space
in our  infinite
perceptive Awareness..
And with awakened recognition
that Awareness is All there is
these celestial objects shine
with their Now discovered
composition...

This animation features actual satellite images of the far side of the moon, illuminated by the sun, as it crosses between the DSCOVR spacecraft's Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) and telescope, and the Earth–one million miles away.  NASA/NOAA

Immanent Self

Immanent Self

A walking discovery
that our Immanence is
necessary precursor to
our Transcendence..
Or is the reverse the
Truth we are seeking..
Or are all these words
interrupting the real
Truth of Silence..

Reversal

Reversal

We are waiting
for a flip
which has already
occurred..
We use these words:
It doesn't matter..
What is the matter..?
Subject matter..
What really matters..
Time to ask:
What is this matter..?
Science searches but
does not find..
The cusp of discovery:
What really IS
IS the matter...!

A pain in Vastness

A pain in Vastness

A pain arises, so let it be
Let it be..
Focusing there is pain's dire wish
so we move attention
to where pain is not
and find there the
Vastness
a new disclosure
of each large Self..
Finding the pain anew as
 constriction dispersed...

How long?

How long?

This is a question of
Self-Inquiry
Time as thought
a mind presses
the question
 impatience laden
enduring waiting
and longing..
With a final sigh
of exhaustion
 the mind fades
at last
into the Grace
now absorbing
the illusive time...

Psalm 13  (NRSV)

Prayer for Deliverance from Enemies
To the leader. A Psalm of David.

1 How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I bear pain in my soul,
and have sorrow in my heart all day long?
How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
3 Consider and answer me, O Lord my God!
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death,
4 and my enemy will say, “I have prevailed”;
my foes will rejoice because I am shaken.
5 But I trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
6 I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me.

"Sooner or later the question of 'Who am I' will have to be faced. All [practice] that leads to this question is good. For, by itself, nothing else is fully effective since Self-knowledge comes only through Self-Inquiry. Other methods purify the mind and help it to see its own limits. When the mind comes to the end of its resources, and stands baffled before the unanswerable question, then a Higher Power takes charge of the mind and the Self stands revealed as the real, the wonderful."
Ramana Maharshi (Non-duality Sage, 1879-1950)
