A captivating multiplicity of appearances
diverts our attention from water's message..
After becoming absorbed in the forms
there remains an experience of longing
for that which displays such plentiful variation
and the vast water canvas points us There...

To find infinity in nature

we experience holographic power

we sense the ocean in the wave

the universe in the tree rings

the sun in a rain drop

our pain in a stranger's eye..

These experiences grasp the 

oneness..a whole seemingly hidden

until it isn't...

A dialogue it seems

needs a shelf and table..

The shelf is the place

we park our assumptions

and our lenses (for safekeeping)

 to then join and sit comfortably

at the table..

An occasional glance is allowed

back to the shelf

but not a gaze of regret..

Each of those sitting

then inquires of themselves:

What am I..without 

those things on the shelf..?

If it is found by all sitting

that I am no-thing

that I am..

The table is the victor

in round 1...

In a finite time

measured as billions and billions

the Sun will expand

until we become one with the heat..!

This giant disappearance

far exceeds..of course

momentary thoughts and perceptions

which arrive and are gone..

We have these macro and mini

arrivals and departures

and with each..the question repeats:

What remains...?

My response to Non-dual teachers who say that the Absolute cannot be known:

Many speak of the Absolute's attributes such as freedom, peace, bliss, unconditional awareness etc. Yet, at the same time say it cannot be known. Either admit you know it therefore have the authority to speak of it's attributes, or admit you do not know it and therefore speak from merely second-hand knowledge. The truth is it is the latter from which you teach, therefore the strength of such a teaching has no potency and is like giving dried fruit to the thirsty. I assure you it can be known and is bestowed upon those who seek it to the exclusion of all other things. 

My advice, just teach from your own experience whatever that may be; which will always sound unique and authentic.
