Paradoxical peace...

Nothing

As everything..

The paradox

Is unsettling

Perhaps

Or a peace

Passing

Understanding

Arises..

The paradox

Does not

Need the words

That's the

Seeming gift...

Illusionary center...

Tracks converge

In the distance

From a centered

Perspective..

Parallel lines appear

Not to be parallel..

From a planetary

Center the universe

Is also appearance..

This brief story may

Suggest the

Not-knowing

Nature of it all...

End of the year...John O'Donohue

At The End Of The Year

— A Blessing by John O’Donohue

As this year draws to its end,
We give thanks for the gifts it brought
And how they became inlaid within
Where neither time nor tide can touch them.

The days when the veil lifted
And the soul could see delight;
When a quiver caressed the heart
In the sheer exuberance of being here.

Surprises that came awake
In forgotten corners of old fields
Where expectation seemed to have quenched.

The slow, brooding times
When all was awkward
And the wave in the mind
Pierced every sore with salt.

The darkened days that stopped
The confidence of the dawn.

Days when beloved faces shone brighter
With light from beyond themselves;
And from the granite of some secret sorrow
A stream of buried tears loosened.

We bless this year for all we learned,
For all we loved and lost
And for the quiet way it brought us
Nearer to our invisible destination.

Happy New Year..!!

Happy New Year..!!

The old story:

Out with the old

In with the new..

Illusory time

Provides the

Apparent

Separation of years

And scenes and colors

And seems as

Inexpressible

Joy dressing as

What is happening

In exhilaration and

Shadow...

Empty Poems of This Love (Tim Cliss)

Much ink is spilled in attempts to explain what is called

"non-duality."   The non-dual (not-two) message is utterly

simple..yet made seemingly complex by many, in their

expansiveness of words applying to what is unexplainable.

Tim's book of poems responds, inviting the reader to rest and

resonate with the paradoxical nature of his poetic and

simple expression.  The book is a bridge to the peace which

passes all understanding...

Red and blue..

Blue

Appears as red

And red blue..

There is no blue

No red..

Only the

Paradoxical

Appearances

Of each..

This

Already...

Wild goose chase..

Wild Goose Chase

Inspired by the erratic flying patterns of the bird, a goose chase was a game where riders trained their horses to conduct a series of difficult maneuvers, which others had to copy. Sort of like a game of HORSE, but with actual horses. In Romeo and Juliet, Mercutio mentions, “Nay, if our wits run the wild-goose chase, I am done.” Knowing how things turn out for the Mercutio and the young lovers, it makes sense that this phrase refers to a fruitless and complex (if not tragic) game of pursuit.
