Summer brunch

she 
was speaking of the hospice..

a rewarding way to serve..

a sunny August brunch..

a neighborhood gathering..

she spoke in knowing humor:

that we all die..which brought

many sober smiles..

this sobriety is our cultural

assent to what we accept as

quite settled..and find comfort 

in common assent..

yet there are many 
who suggest resurrection: 

a death..or many deaths

of the illusion that

temporary is permanent..

that we are the wave

and not the ocean...

Experiencing

Yes, quite interesting.  This seems to be an extension of what has been said before,
that quantum processes work, but are not understood.  (Note the comment under
the article, in which the person seems to want a linear explanation of quantum
processes).  So the question is: will scientists be satisfied with the strong possibility
that quantum processes will never be understood in the manner they have 
understood objective science in the past?

Forks and Paths

it is called variously:
the fork in the road
a message from the universe
an intuition of new beginnings..
a couple meanings:
first..a longing to reach something new
something more fulfilling
than that which seems 
as stale of late..this is a state
of searching..which we all know well..
as for  the other meaning..a discovery
that the fork or message or intuition..itself!
hides in its singularity that which we seek..
rendering our new choice as one of 
expression!
of that pointed discovery..and a
new path is entered with joy...
