Dark matter as place-holder
for an unknown physics..
Could this be a place waiting
for the Observer
and the birth of  a new physics
in which nothing can be known
until the nature of the Observer 
is known...?

Dark energy is usually assumed to form roughly 70% of the present material content of the Universe. However, this mysterious quantity is essentially a place-holder for unknown physics.  For more:
